We have access to the same material, yet the fact that someone's committed some fantastic stories to paper doesn't automatically promote it to the status of being factual.
Now, if you understand (as I do) that the Bible is a faith document, that's fine. But that should suggest to you that you have no place telling people that you have some kind of knowledge and advice to provide of a spiritual nature, as you evidently don't.

We have access to the same material, yet the fact that someone's committed some fantastic stories to paper doesn't automatically promote it to the status of being factual.
Now, if you understand (as I do) that the Bible is a faith document, that's fine. But that should suggest to you that you have no place telling people that you have some kind of knowledge and advice to provide of a spiritual nature, as you evidently don't.
