This movie, HARRY IN YOUR POCKET, was made by Bruce Geller, the same guy who directed the entire Mission Impossible television series back in the 1960s. It still stands as the best pickpocket movie ever made, practically a tutorial on the subject. Only until recently it was the most difficult to find James Coburn movie. Enjoy it for free while you can, Amazon sells it for $20...worth every penny. Every time I see Walter Pigeon I can't help but think of Dai Vernon.

If there's one pickpocket effect I'd like to master one day, it would be a really flawless watch steal...I've got a whole DVD on watch steals (who's name escapes me), plus one or two other resources including a book titled STEAL YOURSELF by James Freedman which covers it too, but I''ve never taken the time or trouble to learn properly.

Pickpocketing as a skill seems to be tricky thing to practice, taking a watch off a rolled-up towel or whatever, you're never really sure you're only fooling yourself - the best rule of thumb seems to be that misdirection is everything in order to pull it off...
